Alvin is an almost one year old male Lab/Pit mix with a happy-go-lucky personality that will keep you smiling from the moment you meet him. He has a sweet, friendly nature and truly loves being with people. There's something incredibly endearing about his precious little grin - he gently bows his head as if humbly waiting for you to fall in love… and that's exactly what happens. This joyful boy also has a playful spirit and enjoys greeting other dogs along the fence line, happily joining them for a fun run. Alvin is the total package - sweet, fun, affectionate, and full of love. All he is missing is a family to call his own. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
