John Smith loves exploring in the park, especially when he gets to run along the fence with dogs in neighboring play areas - it's fun to watch (or join in!). He gets the most adorable grin when he is happy, and it is sure to make you smile too. John Smith also has a sweet lovable side, and enjoys simply relaxing beside his favorite people. He has good manners on and off the leash, and has quickly learned the Sit command. This smart pup will do a perfect Sit for treats, or simply to earn your love and praise. John Smith is just the right age to keep learning and bonding, and is all ready for a family who will give him the chance to thrive. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
