Walnut is a 5 month male Pit mix with an irresistible face and an even sweeter personality. This super cute boy loves playing with his toys, and will happily entertain himself or join you for a game. Walnut absolutely adores people and wants to be wherever they are … soaking up attention, giving affection, and curling up in your lap (or beside you) for cuddles. He already knows "Sit," and is eager to please his human friends. Plus Walnut is at the perfect age to grow and learn with his forever family, making him a wonderful candidate for continued training once in his new home. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
