Bologna is a 1 year old female Pit/Lab mix and is a shy, very sweet and gentle girl who will win your heart in no time! She may need a little time (and soft treats) for her to greet new people, but once she warms up, you can see what a true gem this wonderful pup is! Bologna absolutely thrived during her recent foster stay with a volunteer, proving herself to be the PERFECT home companion. She is very well-mannered (no jumping), quiet, and absolutely lovvvvvves to snuggle. When she's getting affection, she gives the most adorable little grunts that will instantly win your heart. Bologna is a low-energy pup who walks easily on a leash. While she also may enjoy an occasional playtime, she is happiest staying close by you - curled up in a soft bed, soaking up head pets and hugs. Bologna did wonderfully with the foster's special needs child, as well as their dog, cats, and even horses. She and the resident dog were often found cuddled up together in the same bed … so precious! She also seems to be crate-trained (quiet and clean all night) and house-trained. At 36 pounds and fully grown, Bologna is really just a sweet baby at heart. She will gently climb into your lap with her front paws to get love, and may even softly nudge you with her nose when she wants a little extra attention - how could anyone resist? Most of all, Bologna is ready to find a forever family of her own. Come meet her soon, you are sure to fall in love (and so will she ).
