Hi! I'm Erie, and I'm a grey tabby girl who is about 1 year old. I'm sharing a cage with my brother, Ontario, and we seriously love each other! I'm the outgoing one of the two of us, so I will come to the cage door and beg for pets and love. Especially if you open it, you'll find that I am honest about how much I want attention. Also, I may look delicate, but I'm strong and very protective of my brother--not that I'm mean about it or anything, I just put myself between him and others so he feels safer. And okay, maybe I gobble up more of our treats because if I'm in front, I can get to them faster...but really, it's because I'm a thoughtful sister! Anyway, I like to keep moving and keep busy, so if you're looking for a frisky, bright-eyed kitty to match your lifestyle, I'm all about that!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
