Taz is an 8 month male Hound mix who is strikingly handsome, with a glossy black coat beautifully highlighted by brindle. He can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but once you earn his trust, his sweet and affectionate nature really shines through. Taz has a good medium energy level - not too much or too little - which makes him a perfect companion for all kinds of lifestyles. He enjoys going on walks, playing in the park, and just as much loves relaxing and spending quality time with his favorite humans. At his young age, Taz is eager to learn the rules and routine of his new home, so that he can grow into the perfect housemate. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
