Lima

Lima is a 5 month old female Heeler mix and an absolutely adorable pup who is ready for her forever home. She currently lives with her two brothers, and while all three are very shy at first, Lima (the smallest) is the most bashful of the bunch. Watching the siblings huddle together is heart-melting, especially as brothers Lentils and Garbanzo stay close, clearly looking out for their sweet little sister. But with a little patience, gentle words, and a few tasty treats, Lima slowly comes out of her shell, and it's truly special to witness. As her trust grows, her gentle, loving personality begins to truly shine. Lima is the kind of pup who will form a deep, meaningful bond with her person(s) and blossom beautifully in a caring forever home. She is all set to be cherished, protected, and loved, allowing her to grow into the wonderful companion she was born to be.
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
