Hiya! You can call me Cheesy! I'm an orange tabby girl with a white chest, belly and feet. I'm 2 years old, and while I don't love being here at the shelter, I am a lovable, intelligent girl who wants to find my furever family. I like to play with toys when I'm in a place where I feel comfortable, and I love to purr. I may or may not be chatty when you first see me, but if you give me some pets and attention, then I'm going to want to have a whole conversation with you. I'm good at curling up into a ball, and while I'm a little tentative about being picked up, once you do, I like to be held and snuggled. I'm a little shy here, but once I'm my new home, I know I'll open up and be the sweetest companion you could have!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
