Lentils is a 5 month old male Heeler mix and already a very handsome pup who is all set for his forever home. He currently lives with his two siblings - while they are all very shy and tend to huddle together when someone new enters their room, Lentils is usually the first to gather his courage and step forward. This sweet boy clearly wants to connect with people, and a few gentle words and soft treats help him come out of his shell. With a little patience, his lovable, tender personality begins to shine - and it's truly rewarding to earn his trust. Lentils is the kind of pup who will absolutely thrive in a home filled with kindness and love. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
