His adorable face is only the beginning, because his engaging personality and sweet spirit make him truly irresistible. With a playful charm and extra dose of affection, Maverick has a way of winning people over in an instant. He enjoys running and playing, including with other pups during play groups, and always has a joyful smile! Most of all, he especially loves being near his human friends. Despite being a young pup, Maverick is already a dream on walks - he's quickly picked up good leash manners and often adds a little prance to his step, showing off just how special he is. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
