Cinder

Cinder is a 2 year old female Shepherd mix with a shy, gentle spirit and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. She simply needs a short amount of time (and treats) to build trust with new people, and then she opens her heart entirely to be a complete sweetheart. Luckily, Cinder is also treat-motivated, so that helps her warm up quickly. She walks beautifully on leash, making outings together peaceful and pleasant. And Cinder REALLY comes out of her shell once she is let loose into the fenced-in park. Just give her a squeaky toy, and her joyful nature truly shines! These pictures show her wonderful transformation to a happy girl. Cinder loves to play, and it's so entertaining to watch her tossing toys in the air with pure happiness. Best of all, she rewards you with heart-melting, grateful looks because you gave her those moments of joy … so sweet! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
