Gwen is an 8 month female Lab/Shepherd mix who is more than ready to find her forever family! With her "just right" medium energy level, she's the perfect companion - always up for an adventure, but just as happy to relax by your side. She enjoys going on walks and does well on a leash, making her a wonderful buddy for exploring the neighborhood or heading out for a fun day together. And speaking of fun days, Gwen recently had a Day Out with volunteers who took her to the University of West Georgia campus - and she did amazing! She happily met new friends, took in all the new sights, and wore the most adorable smile the entire time. It was truly her kind of day. Gwen is dreaming of a forever home where she can share many more moments like that … full of love, discovery, and companionship. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
