Pocahontas is a 6 month old Belgian Malinois mix who will instantly win your heart! She is initially soooo shy and unsure when other dogs are barking all around her. But once she gets out of the shelter building and into its park area, she lights up with the most precious smile, clearly thrilled to explore new sights and scents by your side. Pocahontas has a playful spirit that's both charming and contagious - she finds even the simplest things very interesting, and it's easy to capture that same joy and curiosity while with her. Overall, Pocahontas has so much love and happiness to give. She's far too sweet and gentle to spend her days in a shelter when what she really deserves is to be in a loving home, knowing the security and love of her forever family. Give her that, and Pocahontas will be your devoted companion for life.
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
