Kelson is a 1.5 year old male Hound/Shepherd mix who is the definition of a happy-go-lucky companion. With his easygoing personality and sweet, gentle nature, he's the kind of dog who just makes life feel a little lighter. This handsome boy has a beautiful coat of rich browns and golden tones - and a smile to match his kind heart. He absolutely loves being with people and is happiest right by your side, soaking up attention and sharing his calm, friendly energy. Kelson does great on leash once he gets that initial burst of excitement out, then settles into a nice, enjoyable walk - perfect for exploring together. He also seems good with other dogs, greeting them politely, offering adorable play bows, and happily running along the fence to share in the fun. If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing best friend with a playful side and a heart full of love, Kelson is ready to be your perfect match.
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
