Murphy

Murphy is a 10 month old male Shepherd mix whose happiness is impossible to miss. He greets every person with a big, joyful smile and a whole-body wiggle, always thrilled to have company. His upbeat spirit is contagious, brightening the day of anyone lucky enough to spend time with him. Murphy loves going for walks, running in the park, and taking in every new sight with curious enthusiasm. One of his most endearing traits is the way he plays with other dogs through the fence - his tail wagging a mile a minute, offering them excited play bows, and doing his best to make new canine friends. As lively and cheerful as he is, Murphy also has a tender, affectionate side. He's just as happy to lean in for gentle pets and enjoy quiet moments with his people. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
