Lacey

Lacey is a 1.5 year old female German Shepherd mix, and embodies everything people adore about her breed. She is engaging, fun, active, and incredibly smart - the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and is born to be a loyal, lifelong companion. She definitely does not deserve to be in a shelter, confined to a cage, which is especially difficult for dogs as smart as she is. On the bright side, several volunteers have really taken to Lacey - they love taking this sweet girl out on walks, and giving her a chance to run and explore in the park. She seems to be dog-friendly since she has been good when meeting other dogs, including small pups. On the other hand, Lacey seems much too interested in cats, so she is not recommended for a home with them. Otherwise, Lacey is a very good girl and already knows a perfect Sit … plus she would love to learn more in her forever family. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
