Ava is a 2 year old female Hound mix bursting with love, joy, and the sweetest spirit you could ever hope to meet. Simply spending time with her is a gift … she rewards you with the most wonderful, contagious BIG smile that somehow makes all your worries fade away. This affectionate girl loves to lean in close for pets and cuddles, soaking up every bit of attention. She also seems dog-friendly. Ava and another dog (Alvin) recently shared an adorable play session, running and chasing a toy together along opposite sides of the fence. It was pure, joyful fun to watch. Full of love and happiness, Ava is ready to share her bright spirit with a forever family. Come meet this smiling sweetheart and let her bring extra joy into YOUR life.
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
