About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Nora
Nora is a smart, affectionate girl who thrives with consistent routine, plenty of attention, and regular exercise in a loving home. Her adopters should be prepared for her heartworm treatment and ongoing prevention, and ideally include older children or no small children given her size and exuberance.
- Heartworm positive—treatment covered by shelter through June 2026; requires local adoption and ongoing heartworm prevention.
- Tail amputation healed; monitor for phantom tail behavior.
- Moderate tartar on teeth; future dental cleaning recommended.
- Avoid adopters in dark clothing during initial greetings; she shows wariness (no aggression) but may need acclimation time.
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. to confirm any details before adopting.
