About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Lexington
Lexington is a cuddly, affectionate boy who thrives in a home with older children (11+) and ideally no cats or small animals due to his prey drive. A house with a yard and patient owners who understand his selective dog friendships and occasional leash reactivity would be his perfect match.
- Not safe with cats; has strong prey drive.
- Not suitable for homes with young children under age 11; has history of resource-guarding nip with a 7-year-old.
- Selective about dog companions and reactive to other dogs on leash; ideally a one-pet home or introduction facilitated by foster.
- Cries and barks when left alone; not recommended for apartments or condos due to noise concerns.
- Housetrain-in-progress; needs consistent leash-walk outdoor potty routine to manage distractibility from wildlife.
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. to confirm any details before adopting.
