Meet Myrtle. This poor girl was found wandering stray with terrible flea dermatitis, hungry and alone. Thank goodness she was found by a wonderful rescuer and ended up in foster care and her skin is being treated and she is healing nicely. We suspect that in another month or two she's going to be gorgeous!

Myrtle is a senior, may be 10 to 12 years old, and she gets along well with other dogs and every human she meets. She seems grateful for the kindness being shown to her, and has settled in beautifully to foster care. Myrtle loves her walks and her tiny little legs can really motor along when she's out and about! She's an affectionate little lapdog who loves attention, relaxing and soft beds, and most of all treats.

Myrtle is missing many of her teeth and part of her jaw, but that doesn't impact her appetite or ability to eat. It's also evident that she's had plenty of litters of puppies in the past, but those days are over and she was recently spayed. She's looking for someone who needs a loving companion and best friend, and promises to give her love and loyalty to someone who will open up their home and heart to her.
