Hi, I just arrived at It's The Pits. ITP is still getting to know me and will write my bio soon.

Here's her back story

Chiclet. 5 years old. 26 tiny pounds. And more fight in her than most of us will ever know.

She was found alone, eating trash just to survive. Her little body is painfully thin. She has ataxia, a neurological condition that makes her wobbly and unsteady, like the world won't quite stay still for her. And still… she is gentle. She is affectionate. She seeks out love like nothing bad ever happened.

She was scheduled to die.
And we just couldn't let her story end like that.

After everything - the hunger, the fear, the neglect - Chiclet still chooses trust. Still chooses to lean into a human hand. Still wags her tail. That kind of sweetness is rare. That kind of spirit is worth fighting for.

Now she needs us. She needs medical care, nourishment, and the chance to feel safe for the first time in her life.
