Micah - PUPPY

Micah (Mikey) is a 10 month old Akita male puppy available for adoption!! He is the only male of the puppies rescued from the shelter as part of Momma Mia's litter and has been fostered and growing up on a ranch in Ramona, Ca. Micah is just an adorable boy with the sweetest sensitive heart. He was definitely the big brother when it comes to the girls and asserted his place in the litter from the very beginning. He let his sisters know who was the man of the house when it came to feeding and certain toys but was always a good listener when corrected. He is extremely sweet to people but can be a little shy at first. He naturally protects his home with a bark but becomes very affectionate with once he sees they are trusted guests. His foster has made sure to nurture his friendliness as he has grown. He has always been respectful of the other adult akitas in foster and has grown up with boundaries to help him know his place. He would do best with an akita experienced owner so he is properly encouraged in his sensitive kindness and isn't put in a position to feel like he needs to be overly protective. He is very loyal, obedient and even while loose walking the property stays close to his people, checking in and really thrives in the bond he has. Micah is very gentle and gets attached. He will be a loyal boy that enjoys being a part of your life. He knows sit and is crate trained, has done well with horses, at the vet and loves to play or rest by your side. Momma Mia's pups have all been excellent and have their play time in the morning and evening but are settled for a nap throughout the day. They sleep through the night and are great in a home!!
