Bat Dog Athens

BAT DOG: The Dark Knight of Cuddles. Greetings, citizen. The name's Bat Dog… though my friends call me Batty. I'm a 1-year-old, 25-pound black Lab mix(ish!) with a soft coat and a little scruff on my chin and chest that gives me a rugged superhero look. My exact breeds may be a bit of a mystery; but the humans say whatever they all are make me the perfect mix of GOOD BOY!

My superpower is simple: I love everyone. I'm incredibly friendly with people, great with other dogs, and I've been gentle and sweet with all the kids I've met. I've got that happy, playful energy without being overwhelming - the perfect mix of fun puppy enthusiasm and laid-back good boy. I'm just as happy going on an outdoor adventure as I am curling up in a lap for some heroic-level cuddling.

I walk well on a leash, ride nicely in the car, and I'm crate-trained. I'm playful, affectionate, eager to please, obedient, and a pretty smart guy if I do say so myself. I also like toys and can entertain myself when needed or even put myself down for a nap… though saving the world (or your couch) together is more fun. My foster family says I'm a "go-with-the-flow kind of dude" who is always ready to give and receive love.
