Ruthie HC

Ruthie is a 2.5-year-old, 55 lb Lab mix who was saved from South Carolina and is ready to start her next chapter! She has that classic Labrador personality everyone loves - sweet, friendly, and always happy to be part of whatever you're doing.

Ruthie is wonderful with all people. She's social, affectionate, and has that easygoing, lovable energy that makes Labs such incredible family dogs. Whether it's playtime in the yard, a long walk, or just relaxing by your side, Ruthie is happiest being included. Her foster family says Ruthie is an incredible dog, who gets along with all dogs regardless of their size, and even likes cats. She greets the family with enthusiasm when they come home, wagging her tail wildly, spinning, and jumping. Although she's energetic, she's also more than happy to nap and stay quiet when the rest of the family is settled. Ruthie loves going on walks, playing with toys, playing fetch, and splashing in water. She'd be happy with either one person or a large family; as long as she can bring joy to someone, that's all that matters to her. She is well behaved in the car and enjoys going to new places. She is crate trained, but she would rather be out spending time with her humans. Overall Ruthie is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever fostered. She is so incredibly eager to please!
