Mama

Please welcome Mama!!

Located in Howell, MI, Mama is a very happy young lady who is talkative and loves attention. Some of her enjoyments include laying on your lap, nuzzling into the crook of your arm and making biscuits. She loves her food and uses her litter like a champ! She is fully vetted, spayed and negative for FeLV, FIV and Heartworm.

Sadly, Mama came from a hoarding situation and had a very difficult adjustment once she came to Purrs Abound. For that reason, Mama is looking for a patient and understanding family. While Mama lived with numerous other cats in the hoarding home, we don't know how well she interacted with them. Mama's son is currently bunking with her in her foster home and, sadly, Mama doesn't really like him. With proper introductions, Mama may adjust well to a mild mannered resident kitty. Mama's foster Mom feels that Mama will do best in a home with older children who will learn and understand her boundaries as she can easily be overstimulated if you aren't paying attention. Mama has blossomed in her current foster's home and we feel that she is ready now to move on to a forever home where she can be the center of attention.
