Renata was found running as a stray and there is some indication that she has had a litter of puppies. It's hard to believe she was running as a stray-she sticks to her foster mom like glue. Wherever her Foster Mom goes, she follows. She has a loving disposition and greets everyone who comes through the door as if they were her best friend.

Renata is very good with other dogs-respectful of older dogs and loves to play with the younger animals in the house. She hasn't been around large dogs while in her foster home, but we have no reason to think she would have any issues with friendly dogs of any size.

Her ideal human would have a warm and welcoming lap to cuddle on, a bed that she can sleep at the foot of the bed, and chews to chew on from time to time (her favorites are cross cut antlers, collagen chews-stuff that tastes good). Renata would love a home where she gets taken on walks - but she has made it abundantly clear in this super frigid weather that she does not need to go for long walks! She is just as happy to hunker down with you on the sofa or on the floor facing the fireplace.

Renata is a true gem! The worst thing her Foster Mom could come up with is that sometimes she takes the treats a little roughly. Even the vet said she is a five star dog!

Renata is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and potty pad trained, and spayed. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
