Chico

Chico is a one-year-old black sweetheart who practically rescued himself. Found outside, he made it very clear he didn't belong there - the moment he saw a human, he walked right up as if greeting an old friend. He meowed, asked for attention, and leaned in for love like they had known each other forever. That's just who Chico is - affectionate, trusting, and ready to bond.

Life on the streets wasn't always kind to him, and he got into a few tussles, so Chico would prefer to be your one and only feline king. He's still unsure whether other cats are truly his friends, but he's completely sure he loves people.

He hasn't been officially tested with dogs yet, but when he sees them at the cat center, he watches with relaxed curiosity. His body language stays calm and easy-going, which suggests he may do well with a respectful, cat-friendly dog after a slow introduction.

Chico loves ear rubs - they're his absolute favorite - and he'll gently lean into your hand asking for more. He enjoys sitting by the window, happily watching birds and animals outside, perfectly content knowing he'll never have to fend for himself again. Indoor life suits him just fine, and he's very happy to keep it that way.

With his laid-back personality, he'll likely adore children once he gets to know them. Chico is the kind of cat who bonds deeply and loves wholeheartedly.
