Liberty is the kind of cat who makes an impression the moment you meet her. From day one, she has shown just how loving and affectionate she can be, greeting you with soft purrs and an eagerness for attention. There is a natural warmth about her that makes it easy to feel connected, like she has already decided you are someone she can trust. Whether she is leaning into pets or quietly keeping you company, Liberty brings a gentle and comforting presence wherever she goes.

Her journey has not been a simple one. Liberty came into DuPage County alongside Bridget, and we believe the two spent time together out in the world before rescue. While they were separated upon intake and are still finding their footing again, glimpses of their bond continue to shine through. When given the chance to be together outside of their condos, Liberty relaxes, engages, and plays, showing us that their connection may just need time, patience, and the right environment to fully bloom again.

Liberty would thrive in a home that understands that love sometimes takes time to unfold. She has already shown us how sweet and affectionate she is, and with a little patience, she has so much more to give. She can be good with other cats with slow and proper introductions. She is currently unknown with dogs, but as always, with slow and proper introductions, it can be a wonderful transition. Whether she finds a home alongside Bridget or as a solo companion, Liberty is ready to fill a space with softness, companionship, and quiet joy. She would love a home that sees the beauty in her story and gives her the chance to continue growing.

Liberty is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Liberty's adoption fee is $135.
