It's a Basset, it's a Dachsy, it's a Golden, it's a Chihuahua - not any one individually, but our best guess is a Chiweenie mix and his name is Marius!
This boy makes us laugh with his Basset like turned out front paws, Dachsy low-rider body style and a happy personality!
Marius is estimated to be 1 year of age and weighs about 17lbs. If you need to add some smiles to your life, check him out!
Foster home update: Marius is dog friendly, enjoys kids and adults and even will follow you all around! He loves playing with toys that squeak, tennis balls and is good in the fenced yard and returns to the door when it's time to come inside. He loves to give kisses, will sleep pretty much anywhere and does go into his crate. He will vocalize when he wants to playl He is pretty much house trained and has had only a few accidents when his 'queues' to go out were missed. Being he is just 1 yr old, he is still in a chewing phase, but when takes correction well (with a stern 'no') and does stop. He will be a wonderful family addition.
We recommend training for all our dogs!
