Meet Coco!
Coco is a pit mix who is looking for a new home. Coco is part of our owner surrender program. Sadly her parents are divorced and cannot bring her along. She is here in NJ.
Coco came from Puerto Rico as a puppy. Coco is a sweet little chunk who loves being with her people and loves riding in the car and playing in the yard. She is housebroken and knows sit, come and down. While she has lived her whole life with another dog (Choco), she would probably do best as an only child. Coco can be initially reactive on leash to other dogs, but can get past it. She is generally easy on leash and a calm, sweet, affectionate girl. She has shown to be fine around children, but has had limited exposure. It is unknown how she would be with a cat.
Coco is fixed, up to date on vaccines. Her adoption donation is $300.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
