Dash- handsome hound

Dash is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and will be coming to NJ 2/21.

Meet Dash, a 10-month-old, 25-pound hound mix who's equal parts silly, sweet, and totally irresistible. This boy didn't have the best start - he was found dumped in a yard and left to fend for himself - but you'd never guess it now. After some good food, care, and love, Dash has blossomed into a happy, goofy puppy who is living for every moment.



Dash loves to play, chase toys, and hang out with his dog friends. He's got a big personality in a small body - if he wants a toy or a turn on the couch, he'll politely (okay, maybe not so politely) bark until he gets his way. Typical hound charm.

He's house-trained, uses the doggy door like a pro, rides great in the car, and loves any adventure that includes his people. Being a hound, he's got a mild interest in digging - he just likes to "redecorate" the yard from time to time.



Dash is sweet-natured, even-tempered, and ready for a forever home that will give him love, playtime, and a few sturdy toys to call his own. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine buddy, though we're not sure about cats just yet.

If you're looking for a fun, affectionate sidekick who's as goofy as he is brave, Dash is your guy!

Dash is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. His

adoption fee is $550.



Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
