Meet Nugget

At about 6 years old and a perfect 35 pounds, Nugget is that just-right size-big enough for real snuggles, small enough to fit beautifully into just about any home.

This sweet girl has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes you instantly feel at peace. She's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much-just a cozy spot, a kind hand, and someone to love. But don't let her mellow vibe fool you… Nugget has the cutest playful side, especially when she gets excited and does her signature move-waving her little front paws like she's saying "Pick me! Pick me!"

Nugget is:

• Great on a leash (walks like a dream!)

She's got adorable shorter legs and a scruffy, wire-mix coat that gives her that perfectly imperfect, one-of-a-kind look. (Yes, she sheds a bit-but she makes up for it in every possible way.)

Nugget is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption donation is $500.

Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
