Johnny is a sweet, playful, loving labish mix who can begin hearworm treatment down south if we can find him a foster or adopter. Once we have someone committed for him, he can begin treatment and come to NJ in 6 weeks.

You know that friend who's calm, polite, and quietly hilarious once you actually talk to them? That's Johnny in dog form. He's the kind of guy people walk past, not realizing he's secretly the total package-handsome, well-mannered, thoughtful, and just waiting for someone to notice.



Johnny's basically the definition of a gentleman. He sits nicely, walks politely, listens carefully, and somehow manages to make your stress level drop just by being around. He's smart but humble, affectionate but not clingy, and has a soft spot for kind voices and gentle pats.

He's not the dog who's going to jump up and demand attention. He's the one who just quietly leans in, as if to say, "Hey… I'm here if you need me."



Johnny doesn't want much-just a cozy spot, a loving person, and maybe a squeaky toy or two (a gentleman still likes to have some fun). In return, he'll give you loyalty, peace, and that pure kind of love that sneaks up on you until you realize you can't imagine life without him.



He's not overlooked because he's ordinary-he's overlooked because he's modest. But whoever chooses Johnny? They're in for something extraordinary.

Buddy is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
