Meet Walter

At just 5 years old, this sweet little Maltese boy is looking for a fresh start after being surrendered when his family welcomed a new baby. Walter has handled the transition with such grace-he's calm, gentle, and just wants to be someone's little companion again.

Walter loves being outside and happily soaks up the sunshine. He gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, and even though he came from a quieter home, he's adjusted really well to a busier environment. He's easygoing, quiet, and has that mellow personality that makes him a joy to have around.
He's doing great with his potty routine-going outside when he can and using pads while his foster is at work. His paperwork says he's crate trained, though he's been doing just fine without one.



Walter is the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much-just a soft place to land, a little love, and someone to call his own.
If you're looking for a calm, sweet companion to share your days with, Walter might just be your perfect match.



He is up to date on her vaccines and is altered. Her adoption donation is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
