Meet Dawson - a 2.5-year-old, 14.8-pound terrier mix with a heart full of joy and a dash of charming mischief. This all-white little spitfire came to CAWS from a rural Utah shelter, and he has been brightening every day since. After his recent spa-day groom, he's feeling (and looking!) like a whole new man.Dawson is confident, social, and not the least bit skittish. He'll occasionally bark to be let back inside or if crated too long, but overall he's an easy, happy companion. He's fully house-trained and crate-trained, though he shouldn't spend long hours in a crate-he loves being part of the action far too much.He sleeps contentedly in a dog bed but also enjoys hopping onto the couch to cuddle his favorite humans. His soft little kisses are the sweetest bonus. While he hasn't lived with children in his foster home, we believe he'd do well with respectful older kids.Dawson gets along beautifully with all the dogs in his foster home-big, small, male, and female. He loves spending time outside, so a home with a yard is preferred, along with humans who work from home, can bring him to work, or are retired. He truly thrives when he isn't left alone for long stretches.This magnificent, one-of-a-kind pup is overflowing with sweetness and joy. He never should have landed in a shelter, but now that he's with us, we're committed to finding him the forever home he absolutely deserves.
