Bodie is a sweet, affectionate, easygoing puppy with a naturally mellow personality. He enjoys playing but is also very good at settling himself afterward. He is happy to grab a toy, entertain himself, and then curl up for a nap.When he first feels unsure or overwhelmed, he can have a burst of puppy excitement and become much more active than his normal day-to-day personality. Once he feels comfortable, he settles right back into his calm, easygoing personality.Bodie enjoys playing with other dogs and is learning appropriate play and boundaries. He responds well to redirection and is learning to respect when another dog needs space. He is a little mouthier right now, which is normal for his age, and is continuing to learn appropriate biting and what is okay to chew. He responds very well when called, if you say "come here," he typically comes right over.Bodie is currently fully crate trained when crated with his brother and sleeps through the entire night with no issues. He is still working on daytime potty training and has occasional accidents. He is a good eater, loves water, and enjoys toys and independent play.There are currently no children or cats in the foster home, so we haven't been able to directly test those interactions. Based on his overall temperament, we don't anticipate either being a problem with proper introductions and supervision.Overall: Bodie is a mellow, affectionate puppy who can play, entertain himself, and settle easily. He appears very comfortable with independence and has been an adaptable, easygoing puppy in the home.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
