A true "Velcro dog," she loves being close to her people, happily prancing around the yard, fetching toys, and then settling beautifully once she comes inside. She's still building her confidence and looks to other dogs for guidance, walking wonderfully on leash with a dog friend and riding calmly in the car once she's in. A home with another confident dog would be her ideal match.In the house, Pancake is a gold-star student-crate-trained, reliably follows her potty schedule, and stays calm for several hours at a time. She currently lives with a dog-savvy 8-year-old and is incredibly intuitive, especially when someone is upset. She still has a little "puppy jump," so she'd do best with kids who don't mind an enthusiastic hello. Smart and eager to learn, she truly wants to be the "goodest girl."With moderate energy, Pancake enjoys yard time, quiet dog park visits, and continued confidence-building with a patient family. At the end of the day, her perfect routine includes a frozen treat bowl and a cozy snuggle. If you're looking for a silly, sensitive, and loving companion, Pancake is ready for her forever home.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
