He does have some OCD-type behaviors, but he's polite, routine-oriented, and thrives when he knows what to expect. His absolute favorite thing in the world? Chasing water from the hose and popping bubbles - he lights up with joy every time!In the home, Bolt is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and generally well-mannered. He knows a few basic commands like sit and stay, and he's very treat-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. On leash he can be a bit excitable, but with a steady handler he settles into a good rhythm. Bolt is a top-notch snuggler who wants to be close to his people. In fact, if he can't find a seat next to you, he'll happily settle for your lap!Bolt has a medium energy level - just right for a dog his age. He enjoys playtime, mental stimulation, and structured routines. Bolt would prefer to be the only dog in the house, though he can easily co-exist with another calm dog who respects his space.This sweet boy is best suited for a quiet, dog-savvy home with someone who appreciates his heeler-like tendencies, his love for water games, and his loyal nature.
