Aya a été trouvée errante dans une colonie de chats errants près du Home Dépôt dans le quartier d'Anjou. Elle a été capturée par une personne bienveillante qui a commencé sa socialisation avant de l'apporter au Réseau Secours Animal en octobre 2025. Terrorisée par son arrivée chez nous, Aya ne voulait pas se laisser approcher et elle avait beaucoup de mal à nous faire confiance. Heureusement, une fois sortie de sa cage de quarantaine, Aya a vite pris ses aises et l'équipe de socialisation du refuge l'a aidée à nous faire confiance. Aya est très joueuse ce qui nous a aidé à la socialiser! Elle est vraiment mignonne. Sa queue est coupée et elle a l'air d'un petit lapin. Elle demande encore beaucoup de douceur et n'aime pas se faire manipuler. Pour ces raisons, elle ne sera pas un bon match pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants. Elle se cherche une famille douce et patiente qui lui permettra de s'adapter doucement à la vie en maison. Elle semble bien s'entendre avec les autres chats de sa pièce. Elle se laisse maintenant bien caressée et aime cela! Aya est un chat adulte, donc les frais d'adoption pour elle sont de 290$. Elle est stérilisée, vaccinée, micropucée et négative pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. Vous pourrez avoir recours à l'aide de l'équipe des adoptions aussi longtemps que nécessaire. Terrified by her arrival at our shelter, Aya did not want to be approached and had a hard time trusting us. Fortunately, once she was out of her quarantine cage, Aya quickly settled in and the shelter's socialization team helped her to trust us. Aya is very playful, which helped us to socialize her! She is really cute. Her tail is docked and she looks like a little rabbit. She still needs to be handled gently and does not like to be picked up. For these reasons, she would not be a good match for a family with young children. She is looking for a gentle and patient family that will allow her to slowly adapt to life in a home. She seems to get along well with the other cats in her room. She now lets herself be petted and enjoys it! Aya is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV).
