Rudolph

Rudolph a été trouvé errant à l'hiver 2019 alors qu'il était extrêmement maigre, fiévreux et avait de la difficulté à tenir debout. Heureusement, une dame lui est venu en aide et l'a soigné afin de le remettre sur pieds. Rudolph a ensuite été admis au Réseau Secours Animal afin d'éventuellement être mis à l'adoption. Rudolph a été particulièrement stressé par l'environnement vivant du refuge et il a pris plusieurs mois pour accepter qu'on s'occupe de lui. Il va maintenant bien et nous considérons qu'il est apte à trouver une famille pour la vie. Rudolph aime la compagnie des autres chats avec qui il fait souvent la sieste. Ainsi, malgré qu'il soit porteur du VIF, il n'est pas un danger pour les autres chats. Rudolph aime les câlins et en redemande! C'est un chat franchement adorable. Il aimera trouver une maison calme sans enfants. Sa famille devra comprendre que Rudolph est un chat doux et calme qui aura besoin de temps pour s'adapter à sa nouvelle maison. Rudolph a eu une extraction complète de toutes ses dents, mais cela ne l'empêche pas de manger des petites croquettes. Rudolph avait été adopté en 2023, mais sa famille l'a retourné à l'automne 2025. Il est maintenant le plus vieux chat de notre refuge et a envie de finir sa belle vie dans une maison qui ne le retournera pas! Il a un début d'insuffisance rénale et devrait commencer à manger une nourriture spécialisée. Rudolph est un chat senior, donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 175$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné et micropucé. Il est positif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF), mais négatif pour la leucose féline (FeLV). He is now doing well and we feel he is ready to find a forever family. Rudolph enjoys the company of other cats and often naps with them. Therefore, even if he carries FIV, he is not a danger for the other cats. Rudolph loves cuddles and always wants more! He is a truly adorable cat. He would enjoy finding a quiet home without children. His family will need to understand that Rudolph is a gentle and calm cat who will need time to adjust to his new home. Rudolph has had all his teeth removed, but this does not prevent him from eating small kibble. Rudolph was adopted in 2023, but his family returned him in the fall of 2025. He is now the oldest cat in our shelter and wants to finish his beautiful life in a home that won't return him! He has early-stage kidney failure and should start eating a specialized diet. Rudolph is a senior cat so the adoption fees for him are $175. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but negative for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption.
