Marty

Marty is a gentle old soul who takes a thoughtful approach to new situations. He prefers to observe and get his bearings before jumping in, but once he feels safe, his true personality shines. Marty is the kind of cat who prefers to get to know you quietly and once he does, the bond is real.

When he feels safe, Marty is pure affection. He adores being petted, purrs easily and often, and loves curling up for cozy naps right on top of his person. At night, he's happiest snuggled in bed, sleeping peacefully with his human from dusk till dawn. He enjoys light play (especially chasing a laser pointer!), relaxing nearby, and simply being part of whatever you're doing - whether that's lounging on the couch or working from home. He's perfectly content supervising from a cat tree or snoozing in a comfy bed when you're busy.

At around eight years old, Marty has outgrown the chaos and mastered the art of companionship. He's wonderfully sweet, calm, and loving - the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. He does well with other cats but would also be very happy as an only cat where he gets plenty of love and attention.
