You can tell by his silver muzzle and soft brown eyes that Bear has a story to tell. This 75-pound senior pup was found along with his housemate, Zeus, after they were abandoned in their vacant home without any food or water. Thankfully, they were brought to SICSA, where they both received some much needed TLC. While we don't know much about Bear's past, we've learned a lot about him here at the shelter. At 10 years old, he still has plenty of strength and energy left! He loves playing fetch with tennis balls and practicing his commands in exchange for treats. He's coexisted well with other dogs at the shelter-despite his size, he prefers a gentle and dainty approach to play. But the cutest thing about Bear? He absolutely must be carrying a toy with him on his walks. Any stuffed animal will do; as long as he has his comfort item, he's happy! Overall, we think this sweet senior man deserves a home that will pamper him like a king! From abandoned and alone to happy in a home-that's the story we want to see for Bear.
