<p> ECLIPSE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Come meet Eclipse and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (06/21) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Falls Church, VA (6100 - A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!</p> <p> </p> <p>Name: Eclipse Best Guess for Breed: Chi and Terrier mix </p> <p> Best Guess for Age: 5 years as of February 2026 SEX: Female</p> <p> </p> <p> <strong> Approximate Weight: </strong> 29 lbs as of February 2026 - needs to lose some.</p> <p> </p> <p> Gets Along With: Other dogs! Eclipse lives with cats in her foster home and pretty much leaves them be. We would caution Eclipse going to a home with young kids because she can be overwhelmed by lots of noise and activity.
</p> <p> Currently Living at: DC area foster home</p> <p> </p> <p> Eclipse is Looking For: </p> <p>This beautiful black-and-white chi/terrier mix is as striking as her name suggests. Eclipse is a petite little lady with an expressive face and a look that will absolutely steal your heart. Her bright eyes make her stand out in any crowd - but it's her gentle presence that really makes her special.</p> <p>Eclipse is at that wonderful age where she's eager to settle into a home of her own and share life's everyday moments with her people. Whether it's relaxing nearby, joining you for daily routines, or simply being your steady little shadow, she's happiest being part of the action. </p> <p> What My Foster Says About Me: </p> Eclipse is the sweetest girl-full of love, energy, and gives lots of kisses. She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly (it took her less than 12 hours with us) and becomes a total cuddle bug. <p>She loves napping on the couch (and the bed if you let her!) and doesn't need to be picked up-she's strong and can easily hop onto couch, into the car, or even the bathtub on her own. She's very food motivated and comes running the moment she smells a treat or sees you in the kitchen, but seems to understand commands like no, stay, stop, etc. </p> <p>Eclipse sleeps through the night in her crate and does great when left alone. She gets along well with our senior dog and is pretty neutral around other dogs-she's much more interested in her humans. </p> <p>Overall, Eclipse would make a wonderful companion in just about any home. She's incredibly sweet and loves nothing more than cuddling and being close to her people!</p> <p> Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. </p> <p> TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
