Name: Canela Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix </p> <p> Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of February 2026 SEX: Female</p> <p> </p> <p> Approximate Weight: 45 lbs</p> <p> </p> <p> Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters.

We think Canela would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.</p> <p> </p> <p> Canela is Looking For: A family to provide long walks and daily adventures etc. A three year old dog is at her best. Out of the crazy puppy stage but still energetic and adventurous. Canela wants to join you on your adventures out about town or on hikes and then will be ready to cuddle up and receive love. </p> <p> What My Foster Says About Me:
Canela is a wonderful companion who walks beautifully on a loose leash and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. She's made impressive progress with her potty training in just a few days, and has been accident free since. We're also pretty sure she's fluent in Spanish-but she's already picked up "Sit" and "Down" in English too! </p> <p>Canela recently went through a big life transition, so she's still discovering her playful side and what toys she loves. With a little time, patience, and love, her personality continues to blossom every day.</p> <p>Her favorite place in the world is right by your side. She happily follows her person from room to room and is perfectly content to relax next to you while you work or unwind. Canela is incredibly loyal and forms a strong bond with her people-once she loves you, she really loves you. And if you like affection, you're in luck-her favorite thing is giving her humans sweet kisses. </p> <p>Canela is very friendly with all the dogs at the park and greets every human she meets with kindness. We even spent a day with a baby, and Canela was gentle and curious-she loved sniffing him and kept trying to give him kisses.</p> <p>Canela also does amazingly well in the car, making her a perfect companion for road trips, errands, or weekend adventures.</p> <p>At home, she's the perfect roommate-no chewing, no mischief, just a calm and loving presence.</p> <p>If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily stay by your side and fill your days with sweetness, come meet Canela.
