Meet Shadow, a beautiful 10-year-old girl with a heart full of loyalty and so much love to give. Shadow faithfully stayed by her owner's side during recovery from a hip replacement-truly a devoted, constant companion. Sadly, due to ongoing health challenges, her owner could no longer care for her, and Shadow came into our rescue.

Once we spent more time with her, we discovered that Shadow is far more than "independent" - she is incredibly affectionate. She loves being petted and starts purring almost instantly when you touch her. She has the most expressive tail that happily whips and swishes when she's content, and she absolutely enjoys chatting with her people. She will happily carry on little conversations with you throughout the day.

Shadow would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can bond closely with her person. She has previously lived with other cats and small dogs and may do well with gentle companions, given proper introductions.

She has excellent litter box habits, is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had full bloodwork. She is a healthy senior with no medical concerns.
