Corbett is an approximately 8 month old mixed breed dog who came to us from one of our rescue friends. He was rescued from a Reservation in South Dakota. Rez dogs are some of the nicest dogs around and truly in need of help. Corbett looks like he could be part shepherd and husky, and that is a rather common mix for Rez dogs. There could be some lab in there, too. He will be vet checked and neutered on July 7th and his fee is $150.

We don't know for sure how much bigger Corbett will get, and he's a sturdy guy still under 40 pounds at his young age. He will need some basic training but is smart and eager to learn. He's a goofball, too, and a lot of fun. We do think he'll be a large dog at maturity. We think he'd do okay with other dogs and kids and is young enough to learn to behave appropriately with cats. He's very loving!

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
