Animal Profile: Marc Anthony is an almost 2.5-year-old, 50 lb neutered male hound mix who has made an incredible transformation during his nearly year-long stay in foster care. With the guidance of his fosters and recent professional work with Tayah of To the Point Dog Training, he has blossomed into a confident, social, and well-mannered young dog who is truly beginning to shine.

This smart, athletic, and loyal boy has worked hard to build his skills and confidence. In his foster home, Marc has mastered leash walking (both on and off leash), crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. He enjoys structure and consistency, and he thrives when given clear guidance and opportunities to engage his mind and body.

One of Marc Anthony's greatest successes has been his growth in social confidence. He now greets new dogs with ease and has developed excellent canine social skills, learning the rhythms of pack life with maturity and respect. It's hard to believe that this is the same dog who once arrived fearful of strangers, especially children, and reactive to unfamiliar sights and experiences. His progress is a true testament to his resilience and willingness to trust again.

Marc thrives with both mental and physical enrichment and is happiest when he has something purposeful to do. He would do best in a home with calm, consistent leadership and would enjoy living with other dogs, though he could also succeed as an only dog if given regular opportunities for structured socialization. He is not suited for a home with cats or small children.

With continued guidance, Marc Anthony will be a deeply loyal, playful, and devoted companion. He brings a wonderful mix of intelligence, heart, and athletic energy, and he's ready to share all of that with his forever family.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test, and microchip. Adoption includes take home training and support from To The Point Dog Training. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: Mark Anthony, Cleo and Alexander were born in March 2024 in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. Sadly, they were found on a property tied to trees with only barrels for shelter in the sweltering heat. Our rescue partners at Furry Freight were alerted to their conditions and reached out to see if we could help and we had to say yes! He arrived to us 7/21/24 very fearful, and after a stint in 'regular' foster care made his way to To the Point Dog Training in Tacoma to get some professional help with basic training and confidence building. He is now available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.
