Saving Pets One at a Time Inc, the Morgan County Humane Society
RescueWe are all volunteers. Our mission is to reduce the number of dogs euthanized at the pound, reunite lost dogs with owners, and provide food so families can keep their dogs through difficult times. Food pantry dogs must be spay/neutered to qualify for free food. We have monthly clinics at no or low charge for Morgan County dogs. We rescue and place about 300 per year. We keep dogs in foster homes so we really get to know them before adoption. We think in a small county like ours, a shelter building is an unnecessary expense, besides being bad for the dogs.
