About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Kenny
Kenny is a loving, people-oriented young dog who thrives with active, experienced adopters who can provide a securely fenced yard and either be his only dog or pair him with a calm, playful companion of similar size. His front-leg amputation does not slow him down, but he needs a home that understands his jumping ability and can manage a young, smart pup through his growth phase.
- Not suitable for homes with cats or small animals.
- Requires a 6-foot fence due to jumping ability despite amputation.
- Dog-to-dog introductions must be controlled; not a dog-park dog.
- Leg amputation from past injury; adopters should understand ongoing care and mobility needs.
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Last Hope Animal Rescue to confirm any details before adopting.

Last Hope Animal Rescue
RescueLast Hope Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Formed in March of 2004, we are an all volunteer animal rescue group comprised of foster homes in the greater Cedar Rapids area. Many of our animals come from local kill shelters, as their time has run out due to any number of reasons including lack of space, not deemed adoptable, special needs, etc. Our purpose is to save as many homeless, abused, abandoned, hard to place, neglected animals that we can and to place as many animals as possible into loving, forever homes where they will be cherished.
