Meet Bella - your future tiny, opinionated roomate with excellent taste in naps and snacks. At about 15 years young, Bella is fully settled into her "old lady era," and she's not pretending otherwise. She knows what she likes (food, cozy spots, gentle pets) and what she does not like (being picked up, unnecessary nonsense, and violations of her personal space). Respect her boundaries, and you'll earn the privilege of her affection.

Bella is the definition of "love on her own terms." She'll come to you when she is ready for pets, lean in just enough to let you know you're doing it right, then wander off when she's had her fill. It's a system and it works. Bella can tolerate other cats that mind their own business and leave her alone. No young kittens for this lady! She has not been dog tested and would do best in a home with older children who understand that she does not always enjoy being loved on.

Because she is a senior, Bella has some joint stiffness and would benefit from a daily supplement and a home that makes life easy - think soft beds, easy-to-reach favorite spots, and a calm environment where she can relax and be her wonderfully grumpy self.

Bella's adoption fee is $85 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets indoors, altered, and kept current on all vaccinations and preventative care.
